Reading, Writing & Rocking MY World

Welcome

Blog posts in this blog encompass all three of these topics and I hope will be interesting!

Reading: book reviews posted from Goodreads on the latest books I've read and maybe about books I'd like to read! ;) also occasionally sharing books I have listed for sale on Lulu.com :)

Writing: link to my writing website where all my blogs and other writing sites are listed.

Rocking MY World: music I love and info about drums and maybe even videos if I EVER get back to trying to learn how to play them again!!

Scholar

A Scholar soul is one whose role in life is the accumulation of information and knowledge.

Scholars are students of life, observers, note-takers. They are naturally academic and "bookish", never happier than when able to gather new information, whether from books, on the Internet, through scientific experimentation, or simply through living and travelling. Other soul types are often flummoxed by the Scholar’s obsession with learning, reading and analysing.

All soul types can manifest positively or negatively in any given moment, as the individual chooses. The Scholar's positive manifestation is KNOWLEDGE which leads to objective understanding for all. The negative manifestation is THEORY, whereby the Scholar gets lost in "nerdish" details and meaningless theoretical issues.

Famous Scholars include Galileo, Newton, Marie Curie, Charlotte Bronte, Gordon Brown.
